A notable portion of royalties came from international listeners, highlighting Afrobeats’ global dominance. The data emphasises significant streaming growth and increased visibility for Nigerian content through playlists. In 2024, royalties had already surpassed N58 billion, showing consistent upward trends.

The number of artists earning over N10 million annually from Spotify has more than doubled since 2023, reflecting a thriving ecosystem for creators amid a maturing music industry.
